Gloria Dei is a vibrant, friendly congregation associated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) located in North Garland, a suburb of Dallas, Texas.  In addition to North Garland, Gloria Dei serves the neighboring communities of Richardson, Sachse, Murphy, Wylie and Rowlett.

Beside participating in church-wide programs, this group of believers has a heart for sharing God’s love through service to its surrounding community, through its love of music; care for animals; serving the less fortunate and differently-abled; and pursuing social justice issues.

As part of our compassionate care for all God’s creatures, we partner with Feral Friends and Pet Partners of Greater Dallas. On most Sundays you will find Therapy Teams with us in worship. That means we’ll have well-trained dogs in church. After worship, if one of our Feral Friends Representatives is available, you can come and meet some cats available for adoption.
